About Me

Hi!

I’m Lauren, a Pittsburgh native with a passion for learning, technology, being creative, and making meaningful connections.

I began my academic journey at the University of Mount Union in Ohio, where I earned a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing, Management, and Spanish. After graduating, I moved to New York City and worked in marketing before returning to Pittsburgh.

Driven by a growing interest in technology, I pursued a second bachelor’s degree from Penn State in Information Science & Technology, along with Cybersecurity & Risk Analysis. I'm currently working toward my MS in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity, and I expect to graduate in Spring 2026. It’s been challenging—but learning new things is one of my greatest joys.

Outside of academics and tech, I’m a proud dog mom to two Dachshunds, Winter and Daisy, and I keep a large saltwater aquarium. I’m also an avid equestrian and dream of owning a horse someday. I love traveling, reading, cooking, baking, doing some sort of artwork, watching ice hockey, and spending time with my family. And wherever I go, you’ll usually find me in a coffee shop with an iced latte in hand!
